USCLI is a private, independent organization. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any federal, state, or local government. Our name describes our subject matter, not any official status.

Licensing, certification, and credit

We do not issue professional licenses. Only state licensing authorities do. We do not currently offer certifications, accreditation, continuing-education credit, or a member registry, and nothing on this site should be read as conferring one.

Tax status

Contributions or gifts to USCLI are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. We are not currently accepting contributions.

Accuracy

We summarize and link to official sources, and we date what we publish. Rules change, and we can make mistakes. Nothing here is legal advice; confirm any requirement with the licensing authority in your state. To report an error, write to contact@uscli.org and we will correct it.

Privacy

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or third-party scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we use your address only to reply and do not sell or share it.
